Refund policy
At The House of Wigs, we are committed to providing luxury, 100% human hair wigs of the highest standard. Due to the personal and hygienic nature of hair products, the following policy applies.
1. Hygiene & Product Safety
For health, hygiene, and quality-control reasons:
Wigs and hair products are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Once a wig has been sent for delivery, it cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
2. Damages, Defects & Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately upon reception.
If your item is:
- Defective,
- Damaged during delivery, or
- Incorrect due to an error on our part
You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
To submit a claim, please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photos and video evidence of the issue
- A brief description of the problem
Once verified, we will offer an appropriate replacement or refund, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.
Claims submitted outside the 48-hour window will not be accepted.
3. Refunds
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable
- Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days after approval
4. Consumer Protection Act Compliance
This policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA).
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights afforded to consumers under applicable law.
