What is 100% raw Vietnamese hair? Raw Vietnamese hair is collected from a single donor in Vietnam. A woman who has never chemically treated her hair. The cuticles (the outer layer of each strand) are intact and all running in the same direction. This means the hair does not tangle, does not mat, and lasts for years with proper care. It is the highest quality human hair available in the world. Every unit at The House of Wigs contains raw Vietnamese hair, no exceptions.

Why is there a 14-day processing window? We do not hold mass stock sitting on shelves. When you place your order, your payment goes directly toward sourcing your unit fresh from our verified supplier. This means your hair arrives as close to its natural, unprocessed state as possible, not sitting in a warehouse for months. The 14 days is not a delay. It is our standard. Your investment deserves to arrive fresh.

What does SDD mean? SDD stands for Single Double Drawn. It means every strand of hair in the wig is the same length and thickness from root to tip. There are no thin or short strands mixed in. The result is a wig that is full, dense, and luxurious throughout, not just at the top.

What does HD Lace mean? HD stands for High Definition. HD lace is ultra-thin and virtually transparent, it melts into your skin and creates a hairline that looks completely natural, as if the hair is growing directly from your scalp. Standard lace is thicker and more visible. HD lace is invisible.

What is a Full Frontal wig (13x4)? A Full Frontal wig has lace that runs the full width of your hairline from ear to ear (13 inches wide) and 4 inches back. This gives you the most natural, versatile hairline possible, allowing you to part the hair anywhere, style it up, or even add baby hairs. It is the most popular wig style in South Africa.

What is a Closure wig (2x6)? A closure wig has a smaller lace section at the top centre of the wig. The 2x6 refers to 2 inches wide and 6 inches back. It gives a natural-looking parting in the centre without the full frontal coverage. It is a great option for women who want a clean, polished look with a more affordable price point.

Do you ship nationwide? Yes. We ship to every province in South Africa. All orders are shipped via courier with tracking. Delivery is 3-5 business days after your unit is ready.

How do I care for my raw Vietnamese wig to make it last?

  1. Wash with sulphate-free shampoo only: sulphates strip natural oils
  2. Detangle gently from ends upward: never root to tip
  3. Air dry whenever possible: heat reduces longevity
  4. Store on a wig stand: never folded or stuffed into a bag
  5. Deep condition once a month: treat it like your own hair
  6. Keep heat styling to a minimum: use a heat protectant when you do
